NextAppLab
NextAppLab — software studio

Digital ideas. For real life.

Seven apps from an independent studio — each built for a different part of everyday life, and each made to do its job precisely.

The studio

A studio, not a catalogue.

NextAppLab is an independent software studio. It designs and builds its own products — seven of them to date — and keeps them small enough to understand.

Every product starts from a need people already have: a letter that has to be understood, a day worth keeping, a wardrobe that deserves to be worn. The work is to remove everything that does not serve that need.

Design, usability and engineering are one process here. An interface is drawn, argued over and only then built — and every product page states what the app cannot do yet.

Principles

Three rules the work follows.

  1. 01

    A narrow job, done precisely.

Each app is built around one recurring task and refuses the features that would blur it: reading a document, estimating a meal, putting an outfit together from clothes already owned. Narrow on purpose, not for lack of ideas.

  2. 02

    Drawn before it is built.

Nothing reaches code as a sketch in someone's head. Layouts are drawn, weighed against their content, and checked at the width of the screen they will live on — the phone first, never as an afterthought.

  3. 03

    Say what is missing.

Every product page names what its app cannot do yet. A studio that hides its gaps cannot be trusted with the parts it says are finished.

NextAppLab

Built to be used, not announced.

Seven apps, designed and built by NextAppLab. All of them are in development; nothing here is published yet.
